This novel was a surprise to me. After reading the first chapter I dreaded slogging through the rest of the book. I think I was still stuck in Odd Thomas, since I started this almost immediately after. So I put it down for a few days, and started it over again. I’m very glad I did. A. J. The characters are wonderful, well-characterized and interesting.
This novel is a fantastic read. It is well written, charming, heartwarming, and wonderfully bookish. 5 out of 5 stars.
